Dies intermintely.

It is a 300 straight six . It just dies once in a while . It will turn but no fire. Then if it sits 10-15 it will fire.

what year? could be the ignition module that is attached to the distriburtor.

track your fire back down the line. start with it at the plugs, then move back towards the dizzy. from there, move to the coil. when you run into fire, that is going to be the problem.

What year is it? It helps to know the year because starting in 1992 they moved the ignition module off the distributor and onto the driver's side fenderwell. If I had to take a guess, I would say the PIP inside the distributor. But I would try the coil and then the ignition module first, because you have to remove and disassemble the distributor to replace the PIP.
