02 Mustang Brake Questions

I put brakes on my girlfriends mustang last weekend. New rotors and pads and it seems like when you get to almost a complete stop you can feel feedback in the pedal. I dont know what it could be unless the rotors are defective and warped or something, i just thought maybe id get some advice before i tear it all apart because i dont know how to determine which rotor it would be being that they are all 4 brand new. thank you

Did you make sure the ABS rings are there and in good shape on the new rotors?

i dont really know what you mean by abs rings. the car was doing good before i did the brakes except for the pad wore completely out on the back and grinded into the rotor but it needed brakes so i did all 4. it just feels like the pedals kickin back a little right before it stops completely.

warped rotor(s), very common for them to be warped when they come out of the box. i always turn new rotors when i take them out of the box. i've had some hit the throw away limit by time i got them trued up on the brake lathe. NAPA seems to be the worst place to get rotors.

i bought them at oreillys, i buy all my brake parts and rotors there and i have never had a problem with a rotor being warped out of the box, and i have bought quite a few from them in the recent past. when she gets back for the weekend i will clean them real good and see how that works hopefully it does. also it seems that if the rotors were warped it would act up at all speeds when braking, it only does it right before you are at a complete stop as perhaps the rotors are slipping through the pads and the abs is doing its job or something??
