| frustrated all right.my 88 f250 with a 5.0. i changed the temp control sensor cause that is what the codes say but it still idles high when it warms up.i put truck in the shop and they cant find any vacumm leaks or anything wrong.is i just the nature of this truck or what ? ![]() |

| just because a code says that this part is faulty, does not mean that the sensor itself it bad. it means that the sensor is either faulty or is registering something outside the normal parameters. this might be a wire that was broken feeding the sensor. in this case, it might be better to scan it, not code read, to find out exactly where to start. |
