| Is the Ranger Super Runner kit compatible with a D44 TTB? I was planning on cutting down a D44 TTB for my ranger build. Will all the Super lift Super Runner components bolt to it?

| Sorry, I should have been more specific. I want to know if the radius arms and brackets intended for the Ranger will bolt on to the D44.

| Which brackets are you refering to? Are you talking about the radous arm drop brackets, or the radius arms themselves? If you use the D44 TTb, then the radius arms for the ranger will not work. But you can use the drop brackets for the radius arms that are designed for the ranger. You also have to consdier drop pivot brackets and such too. How do you plan on cutting down theTTB 44? I ask because the axle shafts are not the same size all the way down the axle and re splining the axle is not gonna cut it. This sounds expensive. If you do not want a full width axle, why not a solid axle? Much easier to cut down, and many axle options. |

| I would have to agree with the idea of just using a solid axle. you will get really good performance out of them, and much easier to cut down and use |

| I had a solid axle D44 out of an early Bronco. They **** near bolt right in. I am using a Nine Inch out of the same vehilce, they do bolt right in. I do not want a solid axle for this biuld. For a small truck like this I prefer TTB front ends. Cutting down a TTB D44 is not uncommon at all. A lot of Ranger biulders have done it. Some comapaines even sell a kit where they cut and flip the housing for more travel. I am not going that far with this biuld. Axles are easy to get as well, I can either buy a set from one those compaines or have a buddy of mine at a machine shop shorten them. As far as the brackets, I was hoping to buy a complete kit from Superlift and bolt it in. The drop pivot brackets and radius arms is what I was referring to. I know I can get the steering system to work by reaming the knuckles. I prefer not to modify the radius arms if I can help it.

| You can fabricate, and from what I have seen, you can fabricate well. That being said, you should be able to modify the radius arms you wish to use for your application. The length of the arm should dictate the amount of travel, but the limiting factor will be the amount of caster. Since the TTB's caster is dictated by the radius arm itself, and not by any "C" bushing, this application might require a custom mount to maintain the proper angles. None of this is beyond your ablilities by any means. |

| I agree, I just have issues with modifing brand new store bought parts. My goal is to have as much as possible bolt on. I want every thing to look unmodified. I would like certain things to appear stock. Even if I take the time to smooth everything out (which I always do) and make it look as though it came that way, a trained eye will see the difference. If it comes down to it, I will cut and weld what I have to. But if I can just buy the parts that will bolt into place, I would prefer to go that route.
