What with the Chevrolets lately that stuff just works to good and won't go off? Last week or week before, someone's windshield washer wouldn't turn off. I'd say its gonna be a defective switch Davey. Its obvioulsy getting power, the bulb is good, the fuse is good. The only other thing is could be is wires touching which is possible in the rocker, but this would likley have to be past the swtich up by the driver seat belt bracket. Between there and the light itself in the cab roof. Prolly just the switch though.

coolant lines through the compressor?? if you are talking about engine coolant lines, than no. only thing that goes to that compressor are 2 aluminum tubes, one set of wires to the compressor and one set of wires to the pressure switch. did you tie off the lines that were mounted to the compressor so that they dont fall into something that moves?? i.e. the belt??
