C6 shifting problem

Howdy guys, I've got an 84 F-150 that I recently rebuilt a C6 for. All new bearings, clutches and steels. The problem is the shift kit I put in it. It goes through all the gears fine, 2-1 downshift is awesome, but every shift is super slow. What would cause that?

Also, I rebuilt the automatic because my buddy wanted to experience it. What would it take to do a auto to manual tranny conversion on that truck? Other than cutting some holes in the cab, it seems pretty straight forward. Anyone ever try this?

What do you mean "every shift is super slow"? Do you mean the shift points are delayed? Vacuum problem? Do you mean it slips in all gears? Fluid pressure as above?

C-6 filters need the bolts put back in the proper holes (different lengths) this causes different crazy problems depending what passage was plugged or partially restricted, other than that vacumn modulater, goveror move free, passing gear linkage binding, was it put in netural and shift linkage adjusted properly, might not engage in drive totally, good luck
