Help me build the perfect front leaf spring packs

Well, I have to finally give in and swap a D60 into my truck. I am just not home long enough to build the TTB D50 like I want it. But anyhoo let us stay focused on the springs. I am installing ORU Shackle Reverse Kit:

http://www.offroadunlimited.com/orustore/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=8306

and I am going to need about two to three more inches of lift out of my springs. Right now I have coil springs and some ill conceived home made solutions to getting some more lift. It would have worked out great if my leave was not cut short and I could have completed the fabrication. So, I am not real sure how much more lift I require. I am going to let the spring shop help with that one. I do want new spring packs built but I have not messed with leafs in so long I have forgotten what all things I should ask for. Should I ask for a military wrap, should I have edges radiused, what about graphite paint should I demand they be coated in that? I plan to have them install greasable polyurethane bushings but I am not sure what else I should ask for. This truck is primarily used on the street and hauls heavy loads. The front end is used when we have a stubborn trailer that is in sand or mud. We also use it when we travel down some crappy back roads with a trailer. So I am more concerned with ride quality on the street than off road prowess. Shoot me your ideas.

For just about any year of these trucks with the shackle revers kit, the popular move is the use of "stock" V code or better springs from a Super duty. Yup, plain old take offs from a stupid duty works wonders and provides lift over your existing pack. Keep in mind that the leaf spring shackle revers kit will raise a vehicle that was originally equiped with leafs by at least three inches.
Have you any idea how much total lift you started with when you had coils?
X code springs and a 3" shackle flip not the 5" is capapble of clearing 40" rubber.
Only slightly heavier rated springs will provide more lift.
This is almost free, and the parabolic style springs ride like a car.

The amount of lift I will require is still a guess at this point. I have a buddy who did what you metioned and he rides on 44's. I do not want to go that high. This is what I am working with. Give me your best guess as to how much the springs will have to provide.

I dont know where to go from here. If you go with front leaf springs, then you must have a rear swing shackle, and as you have found, this will lift a leaf sprung equiped vehicle a minimum of 3 inches. That being said, other variables have to be taken into consideration, and these variables are not on the table.
I am aware that you have incredible fabrication skills, and that you know exactly which direction you have to go within this build. I also know that you have considered the smallest spring that you can find.
I was under the impression that you needed a spring that could clear your giant tires.
Perhaps instead of a high rate leaf, you could use something very simple and not gain som much lift.
Your application is not common, so a real world answer is difficult.

And there you have it. That is what I am running into here. I am trying to buy these parts from Iraq so they are waiting for me when I get home on R&R. I have to do this conversion in two days. If I run into a problem I am screwed. Because most of my tools are packed up and I have so little time, I need everyt hing store bought and bolt in. There will be no fabbing anything with this mod.

Darn it man!!! I have the answer! Really I do.
Move your back side closer to me, and I can finish building your ride while you are gone.
Yup, that will fix everything.........
