Am I out of LIne on Price?

Howdy all. I'm located in Southeast Nebraska and have been trying to sell my 1992 F-150. It's an extended cab, shortbox, with 302 and AOD Trans.
It has 190,000 total miles, of which I have logged about the last 100,000.
I have always stayed on top of maintenence on this truck, and within the last year have replaced: new brakes all 4 corners, new rear tires about 5000 miles ago, new muffler and tailpipe, new MAP and TPS sensors, battery, plugs and wires. Also new leafsprings on both sides about 15,000 ago. I have always tryed to fix everything on this truck right, since I had to make it last, and all repairs were done with this in mind.
The body has the usual Ford rust over the fenders and cab corners, but the body isn't beat up. does have the usual dings and scratches a work truck gets, though.
I have advertised this for a few weeks now at $1650 and everyone seems to think I'm nuts. I see people asking $1500 everyday for some old hammered to death ****!
Am I out of line here??
Just seems like whenever I'm buying, what I want is worth premium price but if I want to sell.....things just arent worth anything!

remember that the economy is not stable. buying vehicles is not as popular as it used to be so the only way to counteract this is by near giving them away. dont worry unless you have got to get rid of it this second. someone will come along eventually needing a cheap replacement vehicle.

That's life people want things cheap but if it was there truck they would want more like Brad said im sure someone will come around and buy it don't give it away it has a lot of life left in it I bet.

HHHHHHHMMMMMMMM!
First guy to show up is drunk, and admits he has no drivers license.
Second guy complains that it's been smoked in....as I see a pack of Pall-Malls in his shirt.
Third guy calls: "Does the truck have any rust?" "Yes...its rusted through at the bottom of the extended cab and over the wheels and box corners are starting to go"
He shows up a few hours later.....walks around it and says...,,,," You told me it didn't have any rust"
Fourth guy........."Will you take payments?"
I'm about to dump it just to be done with the whole mess!!!!!!!

fear not. someone will come around. is the truck sitting out on a corner or do you have it in the paper??

It's in the paper, Craigslist, and parked at my wifes office at a major intersection here in town!
I just might have to try listing it here also.

hello farmall Just remember to keep from wasting all your time if you do not get a counter offer in the first 5 minutes after they have looked @ your truck there not intrested most all the time. works for me

Got it sold for $1500, so I think both buyer and seller are happy! After the parade of wierdo's, drunks and assorted tools that came to look at it, I was glad to be rid of it!
