I have a 64 f250 4x4 with the 4speed and divorced t-case. I am going to put a 351c and c-6 in it. Could you use any of the old parts I'm going to have? I'll have the tranny, bellhousing, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, throwout bearing, that are all in good shape and I drive this truck almost daily.

I'm actually putting the cleveland/c-6 combo in this old truck. The 292 runs good but I want a little more. I would probably make this a daily work driver if I get the engine/tranny combo in. It's got 4.56 gears in it now and a dana 60 rear. I was really thinking I would put a corp 14 bolt chevy rear in it and change to 4.10's for the highway.

had that same combo and loved it. dude drank gas like a fish in water, but was a blast with the extra power the clev was pushing. dont know if i would own another one but if i had the means of say...... Jay Leno, than yeah. i would want a couple. as it is now, i am looking at buying another truck. found a 85 datsun, nissan, really dont know what they called them back then, for 800. new clutch, tires, american racing wheels, mirrors, lights. might be a deal if the woman would come back home so i could talk to her.
