Question looking at ford ranger

hi, I'm new. I'm looking for my first truck. I'm looking at a 1986 ford ranger auto v6 2.9L, ac, pw,PDL. 89,800 actual mileage
1986 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4 V6 the only thing wrong with it is the brake lights stay on. how hard would it be to fix?

could just be a simple brake light switch. if that is the case not hard and fairly cheap. Me thinks 2500 is a tad high for it though.

granted the miles are low and the interior is reasonably clean (from the pics anyways) I don't think I'd pay over 1500 for it... Just my opinion though.

---Has 8000 miles on a rebuilt motor from Bell Ford.
---New Clutch.
---New radiator.

WOW!!! if they were that hard on it, i wonder what else is fixing to fall off. after all, it is only 10 model years old.

We have a 98 ford ranger and I must say they are tuff trucks!!! We have alittle over 100k on ours and we already have a brand new motor in it! We beat thw tar out of it though taking loads that made the backend almost kiss the ground... wheeling it hard... it's been a great truck!

i would expect better out of my stuff. when i buy something like that, i want it to last 200K with few hiccups along the way. oh, forget that i was in the ford forum.
the chero i had was gone through early in life just because it was bored and stroked to give it more pep. other than that, nothing was wrong with it. the 91 1500 we had finally ran out at 330K on the ticker. as far as i know, it is still running. the dodge i have now has 117K on the clock and the only thing that has been done was plugs after i exploded them.
