Brake line repair?

My brake line near the very very tip of the brake cylinder has a tear in it. Normally I would buy a whole new line for it, but MOST unfortunatley, the lines for my truck in this magazine I buy from sells for almost $250.
Is there ANY means of a fix for it? Im very tempted to tac weld it, but something is telling me, no NO NO!

Buy a flaring tool and make your own line maybe that will work.

What brake line is cracked? LMC has complete sets in stainless steel from $209-$229.

That is exactly the catalog i buy from, problem is thats ALOT of money for me.
I went to napa and bought a universal brake line. Problem is i cant get the bolt out, its stuck in. I hit it with penetrating oil, but it didnt seem to work. Someone told me if i use a blow torch and really heat p the bolt, it'll come lose. Anyone verify that or a better way?
