No Haynes/Chilton repair manuals for 04 Expedition?

I can't seem to find it anywhere online. Do they not make any for that year? I see a lot for the ones up to 03, but none after that year... How similar is the 03 engine to the 04 and above?

I have a 4.6L Expy Eddie Bauer edition... can I use one of the ford truck books (like F-150, etc..)?

Thanks

I think Helms does the Ford manuals. You could also try www.motorcraftservice.com for one, they may even do one online.

You`d be MUCH happier with a factory manual. those hanyes/chiltons are poooooor.

the factory put them together, thats why there manuals are bang on in with the information.

I'm by no means a mechanic, and that's why the cheap Haynes/Chilton manuals are usually sufficient for what I use it for. It's funny that they do have them for years up to 03.

The service manual is $180!

I would love to get a copy, but don't think it'll be practical for the limited things I would do with it...

Thanks for the very quick response! This site is great!

you could buy the manual from ford get it copied and easily sell it for the same amount. Its been done before, just don`t go selling your own copies, that may be illegal.... Profitable yes, but legal no.

180 is about right. i think my 89 yota manual was around 160. but it tells you everything.
