Engine cut-off problem

I have a 99' EB Expedition, the battery light will flash on and off then the my vehicle just dies. Sometime it will jump immediately or i will have to place another battery in it to start it. Replaced with new battery but problem still persists any help appreciated.

check the battery wires and terminals paying close attention to the ground wire. you will probably find your problem here. corrosion can build up within the cable causing insufficient continuity.

i agree...but if that dont work than look at the positive cable mainly at the starter connection, ive seen that a couple times but normally like bradrhale said its the ground
