Headlights

Guys, I am new to the forum and have done a quick search. I just traded my 07 Infiniti G35 Coupe for an 07 F150 SuperCrew. The biggest thing I miss from the G is the projector headlights. I really feel like I could see much more at night with the projectors.

So for a week now I have been looking for projector headlights for the truck but only find them with the Halos... now I know this was all the rage for the Infiniti group (but for them the new set of lights was a cool $1200 for the pair) but for the truck I would much rather have a simple projector set up with no Halo or Angle Eye effect.

Has anyone seen projector headlights for the F150 line without the halo? Is there something that could improve visibality at night without going the projector route?

Thanks for the input!
~Aaron

HID's.... just new bulbs or new ballasts as well? Any more details?

EDIT:

Did a little looking and they look bright... have any experience with them? Do they help as much as they seem to.... do they get hot and have potential to damage the lense of the headlight? Should I go with the 8000k if I decide to go HID's?

I have heard that getting projection lights then adding HID's is the way to go. I hope this info helps.

Look at the chart on how the color changes as one goes up higher I like the area that there still white because when they turn a different color they just don't look correct and one might get a ticket.

Looked here and all the projectors look like too much "Bling". I don't want anything that stands out, just improved visibility.

However, might use the site for some other items.... door handles, grill,... the sky is the limit... Thanks for the link!

Great information... I think HID is the way I wanna go, will probably pass on the projectors for now as I can't find a headlight style that looks close to stock. Not sure about ordering them from Ebay, kind of want to know there is a company behind the product. I know the price is great for these, hard to pass up a deal for $56 but I think I am going to keep looking around... probably looking at the $250 range for HID headlights (decided on 6000k) and then matching fogs as well.

Thanks for the info and if anyone has any other places I should look at for ordering them please let me know. I will probably look to order in the next week and then will update with my experience and before/after pics.

I think poorly aimed headlights, or idiots who have no concept of when to dim their brights, is my all time, A #1 peeve.

I'll let you cut me off or tailgate me (though tailgaters soon discover how bright my rear strobes are) without cussing you too much. But blind me with your misaligned headlights and I just might "realign" 'em for you... with a ball-peen.
