volant, aem, or k&n?

so ive been looking for a cold air intake 4 my baby, aka 98 f150 4.6 v8 and ive narrowed it down to volant, K&N 77, or an aem brute force, from wat ive been reading all have heat shields and all are around 300 bucks but volant is claiming its the best bc of its total sealing off of the intake, but k&N has the most direct route and as i was talking with the local redneck at my autozone he was saying he likes AEM bruteforce, now i value this sites opinoin so b4 i spend my $ I wanted to see what you yall say, furthermore im only looking to do this and a couple other things to my babe so does it really matter which i so choose? which is best for my bang for my buck bc i still got to get a programmer and a new exaust kit
