| well guys i gotta admit...i have been on this forum for about 1 1/2 months, and especially after this thread i have noticed how great this forum is. the people are nice and helpful and so far dont like to argue. people can admit when they are wrong and agree to disagree (you know, act like adults). pretty darn good forum if you ask me |

| You're right about that. I have been on some other forums, and OH my !!! The arguements are crazy. Some of the lingo is horrific, and I thought I was bad. Hahah, I am sure I keep the Mods on their toes, I do get on the edge sometimes, but not to the point where kids could understand and be offended. I have only been spanked once for a NoNo, and that was cuz I didn't know. And I sure don't mind being corrected if I am wrong. I'd hate to be spreading bad or wrong info, if I was misinformed or interpetted something I saw the wrong way. I been around the block a bunch and been exposed to alot, so I have lots of info to share, but lots and lots to learn too. Example being, I am now starting to play with a K series 4x4. I have never done it before, and knew nothing about the better transfer cases, hubs etc. I am sure I will quickly learn though from being here. Also, althought there is some brand bashing occasionally, I think it all in fun for the most part, and everyone agrees, we are entitled to our prefernace and that is what it boils down too becasue I do not care which brand you have, there is pro's and cons to all of them. But you're right its a great site to be a member. In fact I think Moderator Brad is planning a big weekend party at his house and his mud hole for all the members that want to come, and he is supplying all the beer and food. Since he is in TX, I imagine he will just run down a cow, hang it in a tree and we can all have steak for dinner, and in the morning he'll chase down a pig for bacon, ham and egg breakfast. Sound like fun??? Just hit him in a PM for directions and the date.

| hahaha, no problem holl, I promise you are not missing anything. Actually there is nothing of the sort going on. I just figured Brad woudl check out the thread and wonder WTH is he talking about. It does sound like a good idea though, and with all the TX members, that would be the place to meet for a decent turnout.
