302 5.0 Heads

Hello Ford Guru's. Need some help here. I have a great condition set of 302/5.0 heads. Cast # is E8JL-AA. Ha !!! Never heard of it? Its considered Ford Industrial engine head. These came off a boat engine. Used for very little time, but some ding **** did not drain the water out of his boat motor last winter and it was low enough, it cracked the block but spared the heads. So now, I would like to sell these on CL, but not sure what the differance is bettween the Industrial boat head and the auto/truck head. Hopefully one of you Ford gurus will know. Also what are they worth? They are in great shape, look great, and complete with valves, springs, retainers and rocker arms. Ready to bolt on and run. I am hoping $100 is more than a fair price cuz thats all I want out of them. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

You seem to have pretty well identified them and I can`t add anything to that. However you may get more info on them using the cast number decoder at www.classicmustang.com

I was hoping someone may be able to tell me what the differance may between these heads and truck/auto heads if anything. Like will they work on a truck/auto block, and how do they perform as far as ports, valves etc. Or and they badically the same? Thanks

Sorry can`t be any help there but the marine engines are usually higher HP than the truck.
