as the non objective 3rd party here, i think it was quite unfair to compare the 460 and 454. a man can build 2 chevy engines for the price of one ford. 3 chevys for the price of one decent mopar. the ability to spend a grand versus 4 is of no comparison here. the clev that i had used to spank 454s all the time. my 360 is out performing some of the 350s around here. yes, there is a couple of mods that i have failed to disclose.
have yall priced a Rousch kit lately versus a 383 stroker kit and the couple of other mods to match?? a man can go broke on Ford.
as for a 460 versus a 454, list up what yall got in the drivetrain and internals. let the numbers speak for themselves.

Well now thanks alot Bradley. I was planning on letting Erwin spend a ton of money, and I was gonna spend very little and spank the snot out of his FORD with 3.21's and a peg legger sitting on a kickstand. But now that you had to get all into that with cost of part, he may have a differant outlook. But he's still young, so maybe he won't catch on. I thought I was being fair. I was having wussy gear that make me take off like a sled, and gonna give him the move off the line on top of that. I was planning on letting him be happy for the first half the race while he was beating me, and run him down and beat him by a truck in the 2nd half.
