| ![]() ![]() Brad brings up some valid points about cost to build etc. I sure wish my finances were better off. Just to get more into the ball park of cost vs cost being close to the same, I'd sure like to build my Olds 455 and let you have a chance at that spankin that !!! Or should I just say, let you race that, since you wouldn't have a chance. You think the butt whippin by the Chev Fo Fitty Fo would be bad, Geez, The Olds motor would clean your clock, and I'd never get over 5500 rpm, and gear or not, I'd at least have to put a locker in the rear. But I wouldn't have to run you down. The second you moved, I'd have you within 3 truck lengths and you'd never get a full truck ahead of me, and I have you by 3 trucks at the end, or 1 truck in the 1/8 mile. ![]() ![]() ![]()

| I'd have to call this arguement totally unfair, and I wouldn't even argue it with you, young'in. I have alot more experience than you, and would have you for lunch in that type of discussion. But hey, you know, arrogance can be a good thing at times, IF you know when to turn it up, turn it down, and turn it OFF. Arrogance can you give you a thirst for knowledge, and you can learn alot. Or at least you better, otherwise, you only make yourself look like a fool if you can't walk the walk if you're gonna talk the talk. And with that, I am not saying Ford is SLOW. Even I can make a FORD go fast. Anyone can make anything go fast with the right amount of money. But, dollar for dollar, you WILL NOT make your FORD outperform a Chevrolet. And as far as longevity, the Chev will win that battle too. As far as longevity, the Olds will win that battle over the Ford and the Chevy both. (BTW, I know you are referring to your Ford Buddy Forum, but its against TF rules to link to another Forum in a post or thread) You can PM it to me though)

| HEY, I didn't say I was OLD. I said I was more experienced. Now you're gonna make me mad, and make me build the 2 Bolt main Chev 350 out back to spank that 460.
