| Might have to get a different bellhousing. Motor mounts won't work I think. Might have to fab you up some. |

| Along with the bellhousing and motor mounts you'll also need a new set of guages... Diesel tach's don't run as high as gassers do etc... Might look into getting a dash from a gasser truck, that way you get rid of the wait to start lights and other diesel only indicators... unless you don't mind them just being there I'd say drop a 7.3 in em!! With a little bit of work they can put out good amounts of power and I think you could then re-use the motor mounts and the guages there as well.

| I think I might need to change the rear gears as well. |

| Check with Advanced Adapters. They can adapt just about anything to just about anything. |

| I would go back with a 6.9. Rebiuld the old one if it can be rebuilt. Going with a 7.3 IDI would be less work that the 460 swap. Just about everything will bolt up. A friend of mine that did a the same swap you are talking about in an 85 F350 changed out the crossmember. I do not know why, it might have had to with his suspension plans. Why do you think you have to change the gears?

| Well, for a while now. I am trying to get into the Police Academy which is a few miles down the road. Then I will have to work here locally for at least a year before I can get on with a federal agancy.
