Question toppers

I am trying to put a cap and bed liner on my truck 97 F-150 long box before winter hits (MI.) Craig's list found after 3 weeks a Chevy topper all the same dementions, measurements, and a Dodge liner. Anyone help me with this just trying to save a buck, I will put a Ford sticker on the topper if it works. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

imo, i wouldnt think a chevy topper or a dodge liner would work just right. the ford and chevy body lines are different and i dont think they would match up. and i think you would be better off to just buy the correct liner. like i said this is just my opinion. there are subtle differences betweeen makes and models, otherwise all parts would be one size fits all, so to speak.

Listen to Big country on this one. Body lines play a big part and there are differences between the makes. Unless it came off a same generation Ford I would say stay away from it, something won't look right even if it fits.
