Air horns would probably be almost the same price as fixing the brakes... and a lot more fun.

i like the feeling of when i push the brake pedal, the truck slows down, but that doesnt happen, and i promise if you ever had to drive with no brakes or a stuck gas pedal (yes, this truck has a habit of the gas pedal getting stuck under the edge of the engine doghouse) you will know no matter how big the truck is, or how loud the horns are, its a scary thing and you dont want that at all. so, a rear brake line, a rear mian seal, a tune up, and a battery, and this truck is ready to work once again.

Would you believe my daughter drove my box van for the first 6 months she had her license? She drove to and from school and to and from her job at the pizza place. I got a call from the school about the truck and was told she could not park it in the shcool parking lot. You can imagine how freaky Okies are with a Yellow Trucks in front of public buildings. Let us not forget about the Murrah building incident with a truck identical to mine is why. So she parked across the street from the school in a grocery store parking lot facing the shcool and walked across the street. Her friends loved that thing. They called it party bus, and a few other things and threatened many times to turn it in for Pimp my Ride. I told my daughter, someone messes or touches my truck, someone will be hurt severely. My first vehicle I drove to my fast food job when I first got my license was a motor home. No joke. I also took my driving test in it. 4 speed trans truck chassis mount RV. I could not believe the tester asked me to parallel park a motor home. I thought no way, would they expect me to do that, so I did not even practice it. But, when he asked me to do it, no sweat, no nervouseness or nothing, because I knew I was gonna fail at the parking, but I had aced everything else and knew I'd get my license anyway. So without any fear or anything, would you believe I parked that thing like a pro? Could not have done it any better if I had practiced. As stated above, just be prepared to spend a butt load on gas. My daughter told me, Dad, that truck gets great mileage. I have gone for 3 weeks on 1 tank and it still got a 1/4 tank. Yeah, well you only drive it 6-9 miles a day. Then she had to fill it. She did not know it has a 40 gallon tank. It about took her whole check to fill it back up. Then she said, Dad, that truck gets terrible mileage. hahaha, what do you expect is a 7mpg, 460 cu in truck carrying a biggo box on it.

buy the soft line it is much easier to form without kinking, leave the old one in place, and just run all new from the front to both rear. 2 wheel cyl aren't that much, if you change it all, it's 1 less worry!

Heck man for a while I was rolling around in an old pacific bell van... You could even see where they had stripped off the logo cause of the fresh glossy paint underneath... Every time I pulled up to a party I would be greeted with shouts of "The cable guy is here!!"

It was also nicknamed the party bus, shaggin wagon, scooby mobile... We had a ton of fun with that thing. It don't matter how good it looks, just how good it runs and how much fun you can have with it!!
