I am having a similar problem on my '84 Bronco. I close my door and it still buzzes as if the door is open and the headlights on. I haven't been driving it so I haven't taken the time out to try to figure out what it is...but if I find out I'll be sure to let you know!! Same for you please

I had that problem. If u look on the inside of the door, there should be a little button somewhere. Unscrew that little button and unhook the wires. The lights wont come on any more, the doors wont ding anymore, and your battery wont run dead when the door is opened for too long.

I had this same problem with my wife EXPY. Spray WD40 inside the door where the latch is. Open and close the door about 20 times or so. Spray it real good until WD40 is running out the bottom of the door through the water drain ports. This loosens that dried greese inside the door switch. Do it to all the doors. Took me about 45 mins. Fixed her right up and that was 2 years ago. From what i was told ,.it is very common on Fords.
