Wiring CB into an 84 ranger

Ok, I've got my ranger sitting in the yard right now, I already have a CB antenna mounted on it. I need to know where to find the power source to hook my CB up to is. or could I just rig it up with a cigarette lighter plug and plug the thing in?

Nevermind, I just got it finished up. those plugs that hook into cigarette lighter outlets work wonders for hooking things up.

my two cents would be to run a positive lead to the battery, then the accessory wire on the back of the cb should be wired to the fuse box on a switched accessory, and ground the cb to a good spot on the firewall or somewhere on the dashboard mounting supports (that way that it only works when the key is in the ignition in the on position or acc position......just like how the radio is supposed to work) otherwise in the really near future you will notice that you will go through several fuses with the cig lighter plug. a cb pulls more power than should generally be pulled through one of those things. just my two cents.

I keep TONS of fuses around. so no big deal. I also need to figure out how to hook up my horn, theres no wiring harness in the steering column to hook up to the steering wheel. so I need to figure out how to rewire this to make my horn operational.
