| 1990 Ford F150 4x4 5 speed in Wyoming I have a 1990 Ford F150 for sale. 106,000 miles. It has a 302, 5 Speed Manual. The truck drives and runs great. The body is good for the most part. The box has some paint missing and some scratches and small dents. The paint color is Gray. The 4x4 works flawlessly. Email for pics and more info. Not sure what its worth so Ill start the price at $1900.00 and you can talk me down a bit if needed. Thanks Dan Last edited by demonpitbull; 06-24-2005 at 08:56 PM. |

| How many miles and a location would help you with your sale

| The low milage probably ups the value alot. 66,000 miles on a 91. that truck is virtually like new. The year does'nt really mean that much If the body is in excellent condition and it has low milage like that. This truck is just barely broken in with 66 K on it. |

| Yes but it's over 10 years old so that brings the price down. I would not pay over say $4000 for a 91 in mint condition. Being 10 years old somthing is bound to break and it also tells me the truck has sat for some time and or never really gone over 35mph and never driven more than to the local store and back. Kinda like grandma's car. But once you but it and drive it reguarly on the highway and start your normal pounding on it problems will show up. and I just did a quick edmunds lookup and a 91 Lariat 4x4 LB 66K with 302 and power options retails for $3900 in mint condition (no rust, good paint & running like a top) sorry I had to...... |

| even though the fact that it has very few miles on it, esp for that old, depriciates the value...... think about it like this, a car is worth 17k, brand spankin new, not even one mile on it.... well as soon as that firts mile is used, it starts loosin value because, it is already starting to wear ( obviosuly VERY slowly, but wear none-the-less)..... so the fact that it only has 66k on it will only bring the price down, even though it is a 91 with few miles... and it deff wont up the price... the only thing i know of that appreciates instead of depreciates with use is houses. Also, being a 91, it probably isn't nearly as fuel efficient as todays cars are, which will agian, only bring the price down.... in terms of cars, the only cars that even come close to appreciating in value would be classic cars, which they haven't made any classics in a LOOOOONG time, and truely, they really just depriciate much more slowly than newer cars do, and MAYBE over a LOOONG period of time, with all matching #'s, and GREAT condition, will the car break even, or come close to it......

| Sounds like a way too high. Simply put a 1991 model that was 20 grand new wih only 5 k still isnt worth near what a 2003 with 5 k on it. Face it , it is older than most people are interested in unless they are looking for cheap work truck. For 13 K I can get well into the 2000 or higher year range. Those dollars arent making sense.
