| Rear Gear Oil I chaged out my rear gears last summer in my 8.8 ford rear end. I heard some where that you should change the oil after awhile. I am thinking if I should since I have the time, well if it is needed or not. Also do the aftermarket covers help enough, and which is the best brand for more capacity and cooling.

| Aftermarket covers are more for looks than much anything else. Also changing your oil would be a good idea since you did your ring & pinion about a year ago, look closley at the oil and gear teeth for abnormal wear

| Yeah changing the oil out would be a good idea, and an aftermarket cover is more for fun, but if you wheel it then find a good heavy duty one. Just please, don't get chrome
