Carb ?

I want to put a new intake and a 4 barrel carb on my 1984 F-150. But if i just bolted it on with the same stock computer and all that, would it run like ****?

What type of change are you looking at? Do you have a carb and intake in mind?

I think the intake is called a Olfenhauser (sp?) and i was looking at some edelbrock 4 barrel carbs I don't really have one in mind.

Get a used holley carb off a chevy. Might make it run better . ha ah. No but seriously. I would look at edelbrock intakes and carb choice is up to you. Edelbrock spend way more on development each year then any other intake manufacturer.
