| F-350 driveshaft problems Ok first off i have a 2000 F-350. It has a 8" lift with 39.5" tires. THe problem is i keep breaking the U-Joint because right out of the transfer case it all of the sudden take a huge drop. THe driveshaft is angled to much i need some suggestions on what to do because i really dont want to have to lower it. Thanks |

| I believe they can design a driveline with a CV that'll pull the angle. I've got quite an angle on my Amigo. It's less than 2' long because of how tall it is and how far back the T-case is... I'm sure one can be designed to handle your angle.

| Way too much drive angle. Probally bottoming out the travel, or the wrong angles. Lift it a bad thing to do if you go overboard.

| I have seen the transfer cases in this scenario actually rotated and remounted to lower the angle. Also, you can purchase spacers that will also decrease the seveity of the angle... Also, depending on who built your lift kit, they should have a resource for you as well, as I am sure they encounter similar complaints all the time. They may even have a premade mount available to rotate your transfer case that will keep the geometry perfect... In custom apps I have actually seen the front "pumpkin" rotated up to a near 45 degree angle to cut the angle there as well....4links and ladders go a long way in preventing this damaging scenario as well |
