99 Ford F250

I have a 1999 gas V10 F250 4x4 that at times will not start unless I step on the accelerator pedal. How long it has been sitting seems to be irrelevant. When it is rainy out I always need to step on the pedal, but not ONLY when it is rainy. Usually happens 4 or 5 times a week, other times it will start like it should without having to step on the acc. pedal. The engine was recently steamed cleaned or power washed. Have had this problem since then. Any ideas?
Thanks, Joe B.

Hello,
Thank you for the reply. That was my thought as well, however the "check engine" light is not on and so when I plugged in the code reader nothing came up.
