| 97 F-250 lift I want to lift my 97' F-250 dsl. with lift blocks. what is the max lift i can get with the factory shocks. i want to lift the truck 2-3 inches for extra clearance. |

| Lift blocks are probably the least sought after lift out there... but it's cheap and easy to install. I believe you can go 2-3 inches on stock springs. However, although I highly doubt you're gonna be trying to get a lot of articulation out of it, if you do try the shocks will max out very quickly. Why not go with new shocks? They're only about $20 a piece for the cheapos...

| yeah, i would put new shocks on if you lift it. probably cost less than the lift.
