Fuel Mileage Expectation??????

what kind of fuel mileage should i expect out of a Regular Cab Longbed 95 F250 XLT 2WD Powerstroke w/ a 5 Speed Manual Tranny???????

Had a '01 F-250 Powerstroke 2wd and I got 14.4 mpg towing my wheeler to Reno and back... not bad at all!!

thanks 4x4chick. i done some research and if it has the 3.73 rear end i oughta do really well, i wish diesel was still cheap like when it used to be cheaper than gasoline.

Either way, whether diesel's more expensive or not: If you maintain your vehicle and take good care of it, your engine will last longer, and you'll get better mileage than any gas V8-10.

I have a 96 250 powerstroke 4x4. I get 14.5 in town and about 20 to 21 on the interstate depending on if I go 70 or 80 mph. And thats with 217786 miles on the engine
