| 96 f250 axle swap I have a 96 f250 7.3l, I am looking to swap in a solid front axle from an f350, has anyone ever done this? what are the pros and cons of this swap, will I loose much of my ride quality? I am planning on doing a 4" lift and some 35" at the same time. what do I need to know, like what year axle will change over and will it just bolt right up? will I need any special brackets, also do both axles use the same spindles so that I can reuse my hubs and brakes because they are all new? finally dose anyone know where I can find one for a reasonable price? Thankx, Nick |
