 | tranny swap I'm putting an aod w/torque converter from a 302 onto a 300-6, my question is, is do i need a torque converter specifically for a 300 or is the one from the 302 the same??? i've bolted it up and the torque converter is in a bind, i'm wondering if the converter came out some while getting it up to the motor or is the center of the crank where the converter rides is a different diameter than the 302 |

| Ford is not known for alot of interchangability so I would be careful before thinking the job is complete. If you feel there is a binding then there most likely is one.
