Messing With It Already I have the 40/20/40 front seat in my 2007 F-150. I cannot foresee a need for the little center 'jumpseat' but do see a big need for a console with storage. Ford offers an optional center console just like I want that fits between the two 40% seats. Has anybody tried to swap one of these in? My guess is that the bolt holes etc. would line up with no problem since it's an option. I would have to lose the seat belts for the folding seat but would keep everything in case I ever wanted to put it back. Any thoughts?

| consoles are always nice, and if you have no use for the middle seat, yank it. in my truck the middleseat folds down and has a samll storage area in the back of it like a console, so i guess i got the best of both worlds.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to do it, and while I have the little seat out I'll put some good seat covers on the other two.

Well, if I ain't, I can put the seat back in, but as of now I don't have any need for it. This truck is not my primary vehicle - I have others for carrying more than one other person.

factory seats are seat covers only in the fact that they cover the foam part of the seat....so in a way everyone that uses seat covers is putting a seat cover over a seat cover
