Messing With It Already

I have the 40/20/40 front seat in my 2007 F-150. I cannot foresee a need for the little center 'jumpseat' but do see a big need for a console with storage. Ford offers an optional center console just like I want that fits between the two 40% seats. Has anybody tried to swap one of these in? My guess is that the bolt holes etc. would line up with no problem since it's an option. I would have to lose the seat belts for the folding seat but would keep everything in case I ever wanted to put it back. Any thoughts?

consoles are always nice, and if you have no use for the middle seat, yank it. in my truck the middleseat folds down and has a samll storage area in the back of it like a console, so i guess i got the best of both worlds.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to do it, and while I have the little seat out I'll put some good seat covers on the other two.

Well, if I ain't, I can put the seat back in, but as of now I don't have any need for it. This truck is not my primary vehicle - I have others for carrying more than one other person.

factory seats are seat covers only in the fact that they cover the foam part of the seat....so in a way everyone that uses seat covers is putting a seat cover over a seat cover
