Mirror change out

I have an '02 F250 super duty 7.3 diesel with towing mirrors and want to change them for heated & turn signal mirrors. Can this be done? Is it a pain in the rear to do?

mirrors

Where is the stock heater switch located? I see a knock-out where I would guess it would go. Have you done this before?

No but have talked to people that have. I don't know where the stock switch location is. I would think it goes in the little square notch out just to the right of the column on the dash.
