| 99 ranger oil pan removal HELP lol Hey guys and gals, I have a 99 ranger with the v6, 3.0 engine. I am having trouble removing the oil pan. The book only specifies removal procedure on model that has a twin I beam suspension. Mine does not have the I beams. I have removed the motor mounts and lifted the engine 3 or so inches, the pan will not come past the trans. bell housing. My question is, do you have to remove the trans to get the pan off. All help will be well appreciated. Btooling |
