Tire help.

Whats up guys, I need some help picking out a tire. Im gona lift my 92 F150 6"s and get 35" tires. I either want boggers 35x14.50, or tsls 36x12.50. Any suggestions would help thanks

I don't know which one to get, I like the boggers for the looks and proformance. I like the tsls because they wear better on the road this is a daily driver

Tsl are great tire!As far as wear, the ones I had were so so.The cold weather ride (till they warmed up was terrible) and the over all ride was ,not bad. They were awsome in the woods, rocks mud ect!!

I sold the truck before they wore out.I had the tsl's as summer tires and other rims and tires for the winter.Highway driving does wear them faster

If you are gonna run Tsl's consider the radial, or the ssr. Same pattern but in a radial. The Bogger is a great tire, but really, unless you are rolling a 44" tire, are you really gaining that much performance from a tire with that design? The tsl is a fantastic tire too, in fact it works very well in all conditions (o.k. icy roads they suck), but so do boggers. The radial will help out with the bad ride normally associated with bias ply tires, and they will outlast the bias ply.
I got almost 43K miles out of a set of 38-15.5R 16.5's on a lifted Excursion, that pulls a 36' Weekend Warrior.

Dang thats preety good. Iv heard boggers will last 20000 if you balance and rotate them every 3000 miles. That and them being way over priced made me change my mind.

Nother ?

Should I get the 36s or should I go bigger. I really don't care about gas milage all that much, but will be getting a few things that should increase it a little bit.

Bigger looks better I will admit, but the drivetrain may think otherwise. If you have not re-geard the beast, it will be time to do so. The bigger you go the deeper the gear, otherwise, it may never move out of it's own way. It will tear up transmissions, and that 8.8 rear axle won't like anything much bigger than 35's. After you go with tires this size, there is nothing you can bolt on to help with gas mileage, its gonna be not so good, just accept that. If ( I say if ) your truck is 4wheel drive, (used to be a time that I would'nt have to ask that question), then the front diff, and the cv's will be at the max with 35's. Some guys get em to last on bigger meats, but I assume those never get off-road. Anyway, it is possible to go overboard on tires, when the components can't keep up.

4.56 is perfect....for front and rear. Remember now, everything will be high maintenance as far as your drivetrain and suspension go.
