whats going on?

i have an 88 4.9 f150, which used to run pretty good except for stalling when coming down hill and gearing down for a stop. this only happens when the engine is cold and only once. this i learned to live with. but about 2 weeks ago the engine starts to hesitate when slowly accelerating from each gear(1000-1500rev) but only when engine is warm. i cleaned throttle and iac, plugs are new, pcv good, changed wires and dist., no change. has anybody had this happen, or have any ideas?
