I wonder if it's counting posts in the moderator sections that you can't access.... Checking..

Oh and the top right "unread posts since your last visit" is supposed to count only new posts since your LAST visit, but if you click the generic "new posts" link in the center, it should show you any post you haven't read -- 2 different numbers. Now that I think of it, they seem like they are named backwards.

There is a moderator section that we cannot see? Perhpas that IS what it is relating too.... The "Unread Posts" located in the top right of the home page reads correctly... the "new posts" right under my avitar does not. I forget who mentioned that hyperlink, i never noticed it, but now that I have, I saw it as strange that is was off. But if there is a section we all cannot see, then I bet that is exactly what it is reflecting.....

i think i figured out your "new post" problem junior.
i don't think the forum software counts when someone participates in a poll........but the topic is brought back up.

even if that was the case, when I click on it, it should still show those threads.... But when I click on the "new posts" under my avitar when it says 9 like it does now, and the "unread posts" say none, it shows NONE.... though it does seem like we have a few new users tonight, those polls are popping up all over the place tonight.

You know, perhaps I am doing something wrong... or I am no longer compatible with this site...LOL... but now I cannot seem to be able to leave any comments in users truck pictures section. Anyone else with this problem? Or are these things seriously only affecting me? LOL.....
