Major Updates at Truck Forum

The Truck Forum has undergone a major upgrade. Some of the new features are still hidden, and a few old features are not currently working. Please bear with us for the next few days while we update all the little quirks. You will find MANY of the new features within your member profile/usercp.

When everything is settled out, will there be a post of what all the updates were, or are we going to have to figure it out for ourselves? LOL....

what is the tag menu for?? i clicked on it but it pretty much sent me to the page i was already on.

think of it as another search tool. if i was to make a post about worn brakes, i could tag the post with the word "brake" and other user could do the same. then later down the raod if i was to look up something to do with brakes using the tag menu, i could type in "caliper" and all post with the caliper tag would pop up.

at least that is the way i believe it works. or you could also click the word from the tag menu. dax and moostang have probably played with it more.

There is usually not a list of updates, but I can tell you, there are new albums (just like the gallery, part of the standard update but may go away since it is redundant). Social groups (under quick links you should check this out) and you can completely customize your profile now (don't ask for the details of how, it is just an experiment game for me).

There are more, I just have to think about them, I will post about them if I see them, ooh yeah, tags which MS explained.

All of which I have been exploring, and above all though, the update I appreciate the most is that the counter in the upper right hand corner is a lot more accurate now for new posts. Makes it easier to keep track...

what about the graph you get when you click on someones name next to their entry??
