what do you mean again , it never stops , there go the vocies in my head again . and from what i have ben reading , it almost impossible to turn off/gid rid of directv .

once you fulfill your contract, call them and tell them you don't want it and will not pay for it anymore, make sure you disconnect any phone lines to the boxes so they can't talk with them. then they will send you we want you back notices

^^^ what he said. Once your contract is up, tell them you are done with them, unhook your boxes, and don't pay them anymore. thats what I had to do when I moved this last time...

Fun how the diff between directtv and satellite
is the need to have phone connected at all times.
That's a suicide move for them since more and more
folks don't have home phones, only cell's
But I'm sure those dishes will make great
frisbees or snowtoys

Watch out for anything in the contract that says
you pay until they get their equiptment back.
