visitor messages and posting

i have noticed on several occasions where a member will post a visitor message to someones profile. please be aware that if you wish to reply to that conversation, that you click the link titled View Conversation in the same message box that you are replying to to conversate with that person. if you read the message and reply to it on your own profile, you are only posting that message to your profile and not to the intended recipients. this makes the conversation one sided on their profile and will not alert them to a new visitor message the next time they log onto their account.
visitor messages are just that. someone visiting your homepage. if you have a truck related problem that you would like addressed by the entire forum, please create a thread. typing a problem on someones profile will only net you a response from that person. you may still ask a particular member on their profile, but expect only an answer from that person instead of a number of replies. remember that several brains work better than one.

if you have any questions about use of the visitor message system, please let me or one of the other moderators know.

that would be bike colors i believe. maybe if you left him a visitor message, he would tell you. if you need some help, i have a picture book somewhere around here with pop ups and coloring pages to assist you.

since i have brought this thread up, i have had messages EVERY day. maybe i should have kept my big mouth shut.
