Question tires

Hey everyone,I am new to this site and just bought my first truck. It's a 95 1/2 ton chevy with a 5 inch body lift and a 2 inch suspension lift.I just bought new 35'' mudders.I got the truck with 33'' radials, but I noticed the front fender is carved,I'm guessing it had 35''s before and they changed them back to 33''s.Scince I put the 35''s on,the clearance between the tire and fender in only about 3''.Is that enough clearance for trails,I'm not going to do any major rock crawling.I also was thinking about a little body lift but do I really really have to?or will my truck be ok?thanks

Try crossing a small ditch slowly and see if the tires rub. if they don't try a more off camber challenge. if the truck cannot handle what you want, make a choice, less rubber, less sheetmetal, or more space between frame and cab.

gees you have 7" of added lift, carved fenders and they do not fit well hmm somthing doesn't sound right.
i'm not sure how much suspension differs, but mine is and 87 3/4 ton No lift!
with 36" swampers and my fenders ar not carved.
granted 3/4 tons sit higher than 1/2 tons.
you need more than 3" of clearance unless you plan on staying on the highway

Hiwarrenp,i was wrong.it has a 2"suspension lift and a 3"body lift.cause i can't afford a lift rightnow, would spacers be okay cause they do rub a little when i go over big things.but when i do get a lift, how much do you think it should get?
