Question about damaged tire bead

I have a Nissan Titan and the tires are in really bad shape. Money is tight so we went to a used tire place. (I know buyer beware)
We found 285/70/17 Buckshot Maxxis Mudders for $80 for all 4. I thought it was a great deal and they looked good. We took them to walmart to ge tthem mounted and they said one of them had a damaged bead and they couldn't mount it. Does this look bad enough to make it dangerous or were they being overly cautious? I know I can take them back to the guy and he'll give me 4 different ones but I like these.

if the bead is damaged in anyway no tire shop will mount or sell them!! all because if that tire pops they don't want you to sue them. for selling you a bad tire. so i would take them back to them and get some other ones

Yeah... plus, if you die... who cares what they look like then? Right?
I'm just sayin'... it's not worth it.
But... if you still are going to use them, put the one with the damage on the rear. This way, if it blows out, you won't go into on-coming traffic. PLEASE!

I would suggest not using that tire... it is not worth the risk.
