im trying to fix a frame bracket that bent on my truck any ideas
im trying to find out the dimensions to a 97 dodge dakota frame. The frame where the lower control arm on the left drivers side connects to the bracket was bent on the frame its not where the front end of the control arm lines up its the back bracket on drivers side however i just want to cut it off and weld a new one on how hard is it to make a new one and line the bracket back up so the alignment will be good again how can i get the dimensions on the frame i know somebody that can fab the bracket at a shop if any ideas on how to get the dimensions on a frame/bracket that would be sweet. or should i design my own bracket then just mount it on the frame then drill a hole for the control arm. any ideas
