Am I the only one that names his trucks?

I was just talking about my 78 C-10 Fred on another post when someone asked me about naming my truck Fred. Well being honest my wife named Fred. From the movie cars, all rusty and parts falling off. Well that is my Fred. But I have always let my cars and trucks name themselves. So I was wondering if I was the only one to do this. If not what are some of your truck names? How did you pick it?

2002 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab V-8 - Little **** Red
1997 Dodge Ram Extend Cab 360 - Linda
1978 Chevy C-10, 350, Flatbed - Flatbed Fred (Fred)
1972 Chevy Luv - Squirt
1977 GMC 4X4 half ton - Boomer
1991 S-10 Chevy - Tremors (after it was hit while my wife was at work)
1987 Chevy S-10 - Mona

And I have had many cars by many different names from Thelma to Babe the Blue Ox.

mine is............was stumpy

almost forgot, it got it's name due to being a short bed and from pulling out a 100ft row of shrubs one summer.

my ole man 1940 chevy truck is called ol red ,when we got it it was painted with red barn paint ! and the name stuck for the last 33 year's .

growing up in the 70's we had an old 45 ford that we called henry...the s10 i just sold i called nellie....my 94 gmc i just bought i call stella....i know plenty of people who name their vehicles or will call them whatever rolls off their tongues when they are working on them...................

out of curiosity....rodney carrington fan? he has a song called fred........lol

Rodney fan yes, but the song has no bearing on my truck.....LOL
I am glad to see I am not the only one who names his ride. To me it is kinda like a horse I guess.

i usually name my trucks after there name. jim is my 00 jimmy. and and silvi is my 87 c10 silverado so it keeps it simple. i have had max the 95 maxima, big red the 81 tbird, hulk the 79 bronco that was insane, goldy locks the 71 skylark, the desert rat that was a 99 kia sprtage(eeewwwwww) it shook like crazy past 30mph if it ever got that fast lol, there are more but i forget
