Tough Truck Contest in Forest, MS, Nov 14&15

Southern Monster Truck Showdown is returning to the Scott County Coliseum in Forest, MS on November 14 & 15, 2008. Along with the monster truck action, we will be hosting "Tough Truck Battle 2008". This event was widely received the last time we hosted it in 2006, so we're bringing it back and announcing it earlier than ever before.

We will be welcoming all vehicles under 1 ton, so even though it's called a Tough Truck Contest, if you want to enter a Volkswagen, Jeep, Suzuki, whatever, we're game if you are!!

The course consists of dirt humps and bumps and a small mud pit to play in! We will have a "First-round" for everybody to get in a practice run and a "Final" which will count for the money!

Speaking of money, entry fees will be $25 per racer, per night. We will add $500 per night to the purse, along with 100% of the entry fees. 1st through 3rd will be paid in cash at the end of each show, 50-30-20% respectively.

Pre-registration is HIGHLY recommended as we will be accepting the first 20 entries per night (so the show doesn't go on too late!). To pre-register, email us (smts4info@yahoo.com) your name, hometown, date of birth and which date(s) you want to participate. We'll take care of entry fees and paperwork the day of the show.

Shows are at 8 pm each night, with a MANDATORY driver's meeting at 7 pm each night.

If you have any questions, please shoot us an email as we don't get the chance to check the boards often.

See ya there!!

Just a reminder that this event is this weekend - hope to see you there!!

Plenty of room left, we've made arrangements to use a field behind the coliseum for overflow and have taken the "20 truck limit" off ----the more the merrier!!!

Come on out and have a good time!! You don't get this chance often, so take advantage of your chance to act the fool, legally!!
