the blowup doll on airplane was the automatic pilot. i am assuming you are refering to the dummy groping the stewardess.
i like the pvc idea although i dont think i would admit to even thing that up. might take some 1 1/2 pvc and make rod and reel holders out them. i have those that i take camping with me. could make something like that that is removable when you dont want to go fishing. someone here in town painted the outside of their blazer with rhino lining. it was cool looking and i am sure, very durable out in the woods.

I've seen that too. It's very cool, but expensive as ****.

Yeah when I buy my new cab corners from Kennyray and get them installed I was thinking about rhino lining the portion of my truck below the trim.

Great minds think alike, I was planning on doing mine that way. Would be great protection from gravel chips and stuff you run over. You can get colored to match your paint to. But since my truck is dark blue I was going just have it done in black.

My trucks gonna be this just gonna get sprayed black anyway. So standard Line-X is all I need.

I thought of taking Herculiner to the lower part, but it might look weird with red and black liner. But I've got an old junk suburban sitting around, and I think I'll try to make my own patch panels from the good metal on that. A lot of the body lines are the same.
