Don't go with the herculiner, the stuff isn't worth anything.

Just go ahead and have rhino or line-x put on, you'll be glad you spent the extra money.

Herculiner is probably what I'll do. The truck won't haul much. It's a short box and it's lifted 9". It'll just have to hold up to a couch and cooler probably! I picked up the truck today. Runs good. The 305 needs to go and a 350 is needed, but it'll work for now. The 4.11 gears will be nice. I do have to fix a headlight and brake light first though.

Make you you really prep the bed good before you use the Heculiner or it will peel. Use sand paper instead of that green scratch pad it comes with. If I were to do it over I would just go with a rhino liner, Herculiner is not worth the can it comes in. You can buy better stuff, Prep the bed, tape off everthing you dont want sprayed and use a drywall texture gun to spray the bed and it will look like a professional job if you take your time at it.

I think he's talking about don't the rockers and cab corners like we where that night... If I do my own spray on liner which I doubt I will I probably have it lineXed but if I where to do I'd snadblast the bed or the quarter panels in his case... I mean who care about the dimples and stuff if your gonna have the rough surfaced liner on there right?!

blasting would be could cause the surface has to be roughed for the stuff to stick any way.
