Beware truck/car owners.

I heard that two guys from another forum were put in jail for revving at each other there trucks were impounded they had to be bailed out the works so watch it or at least don't do that in TEXAS.

Be safe! GMC

PS-To me I don't think it's right it was just because the cop was behind them and he probably wanted to act tough.

that is the most reduculas thing i have ever heard... i could see if they were burning out and being a manic on the roads but i throw my truck in nuetral all the time next to imports and such.. just to hear my motor over theirs.. sometimes i chirp the tires but never race... i like getting it sideways more then racing anyways...

One member paid 3 grand plus he got 6 months probation. Another one paid 2 grand and his license was suspended. My son got a ticket which I was GLAD for racing his car was impounded he had to get a lawyer and he had to pay a big fine oh and no insurance now of coarse dad said get your stuff straight but dad doesn't know nothing then he found out what can happen when changing a number on a inspection sticker theirs a fool born everyday. But really I think it's just too much for just revving your engine. YES I know the signs here in TEXAS say don't mess with TEXAS but this is a bit much.

If both were at a light and the vehicle in drive, then I could see it being a reckless driving ticket or something along that line. It is a sign of road rage and aggression. I do not agree with it but I can see where it could happen.

after reading what you wrote, i think i have narrowed down what actually happened. they were playing around and a cop took notice. now the cop has a reason to go and harass them. he told them that he thought they were racing and upon further investigation, one was found with a suspended license and both were found with narcotics. that is probably the real story. i hear it everyday.

^^ agreed, there's more to the story than what was posted. those would be some hefty fines if it was just reckless driving.

Agreed. People like to blame the cops when it is thier own fault for breaking the law in the first place. I am sure they down played what really happened and made excuses.
